Are We Concerned?

Today, I'm going to talk about concerns.
Why did I want to talk about this?
It is based on my experience.

There is one blind man who worked in the same building as me.
Usually, he will take bus from and to the office.
I usually will sit at back side of the bus and I like to watch people while listen to radio.
When the blind man step inside the bus, all the people will watch him.
Some will help him get into the bus and gave their seat to him, while others just look at him.
Mentality of some bus passengers is that they will not easily give up their seats to others even among the 'others' are those that require seat the most(I have that mentality sometimes).

There was an
incident that occurred yesterday evening that opened my eyes.
The bus that arrived yesterday is a mini bus.
The bus is already packed with passengers.
There's only 3 seats at the lower side of the bus that specifically for disable people(those who have been in Rapid KL bus will know about this).
There's also signage that told the purpose of the seat.
There's also the blind man inside the bus.
At first I thought that someone already gave him seat like always.
But, then I saw him standing near the window.
I was shocked because usually when he enter the bus, people will give him seat.
But not yesterday.
The 3 lady just sat there like nothing happen.
We, the one that standing inside the bus just look at him with sympathy.
Not long after that, the 40+ lady gave up her seat and let the blind man sits there.
The people around me starts talking.
Many have questioned why the lady has to gave up her seats and not the 2 young lady?
There's two young lady behind me starts posting the event in the Facebook.
The ladies in front of me starts gossiping about the event.
While I'm in the middle did nothing at all.
The young Chinese lady get off at the second bus stop.
How intolerable is that?

So what did I actually learn from the incidents?
I learn how other people will talk about the unconcerned people and I also learn how bad it looks from other peoples eye.
The incidents makes me reminds myself that when ever I saw disable people in the bus, try to be considerate with them.
Don't just only think about myself but think about other people as well.
So, readers ask yourself, Are You Concerned?

p/s: I can be very bad when I'm in the bus. There will be less patience in me. So BEWARE..
